As
much as I like building things I have to admit my first love is flying.
I have flown in everything from helicopters to acrobatic airplanes.
Little bitty two seat Cessna's to 747's and I love them all. Just being
in the sky like a bird is one of the most exhilarating feelings there
is. Although I have had the pleasure of flying real airplanes, I could
never afford to get a pilots license, although the FFA has made it a
lot closer to reality with the addition of the Sport Pilot License.
Until that time comes I do most of my flying on my computer. One of these days I plan on building a motion cockpit for my flying. You can be sure I will document it here! I own
several flight sims, the most prominent, and most played, are Flight
Simulator X and Combat Flight Simulator 3. These two programs are great
out of the box, but what makes them truely great are the add-ons. Planes,
missions, scenery and vehicles are just a few. If you are ambitious,
and have the time, you can design all these things yourself. Me
personally, I just don't have the time. So how do I get these add-ons
your asking yourself? I download them from the net. Now I know you are
asking Where do you download them from? There are 100's of places to
get FS and CFS add-ons, some good, some not so good. I personally use
Fly Away Simulation. They have one of the best, if not the
largest, collection of add-ons for FS (all versions) and CFS (all
versions) you will find on the anywhere on the web. Not only that but
they also have Microsoft Train Simulator and X-Plane add-ons as well.
So be sure to check them out. To go right to the download directory

Have fun, See ya in the sky,
